Kosmographia: This music is derived from our need to turn inward, towards thoughts of self and mortality, and outward, toward nature and cycles of time. The ancient poetry of Hesiod's Theogeny and Nonnus' Dionysiaca provided an allegoric medium through which these themes were explored. The Deathless Gods were born from Kaos. Aion observed the suffering of man, beseeching Lord Zeus on our behalf. Typhos was flung into the pit of Tartaros to quiet the storm. Cecrops the autochthon reigned over Athens for fifty years, bringing culture to its native people. Kaimera, breathing forth in terrible wise the might of blazing fire. All ornaments of the raging Kosmos.
